The Happiest Place on Earth: A History of the Marin County Fair

Join Jim Farley for an audio-visual tour of the Marin County Fair starting with its origins in the 1920s. As a child, Jim attended the Fair at the Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross. He’s been affiliated with the Fair since the early 1970s and served as its manager for nearly 30 years. Jim will share the fair’s rich history and memorable highlights as well as innovations that have shaped the industry nationwide.
