Man Found Injured In San Rafael Street Passes Away

SAN RAFAEL, CA --A San Rafael man who was found conscious but injured and impaired in a street Friday died Monday, a San Rafael police lieutenant said.

Julio Amilcar Rodas, 41, was found around 10 p.m. lying in the street in the 300 block of Playa Del Rey in east San Rafael, Lt. Alan Piombo said.

Rodas was taken to a trauma center where he died. It is not known if he fell down while intoxicated or from some other act, Piombo said.
