Manual Tally Slated For May 8 Special Election
Marin County's election staff will randomly select ballots to be counted.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – The manual tally of the May 8 special vote-by-mail election in the Dixie School District is slated to start on May 14, according to the Marin County Elections Department. The county's election staff will randomly select ballots to be counted.
The random selection of ballots will take place at 1 p.m. May 14 in the Elections Department, located at the Marin Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, Suite 121, San Rafael. The manual tally of the ballots, which is a public process, will begin immediately after they are selected.
Registrar of Voters Lynda Roberts expects the election to be certified by May 18.
