Pamela Rose presents “The Jewish Women of Tin Pan Alley”

Find out what's happening in San Rafaelfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

Jazz and Blues singer and storyteller Pamela Rose delivers a live theatrical concert celebrating women Jewish songwriters from the earliest days of jazz and blues. With projected images, narrative and concert, and accompanied by pianist John Burr, Rose takes the audience on a journey through Tin Pan Alley, delving into the lives and work of the forgotten but extremely successful and talented Jewish women who gave us some of our most beautiful popular songs.

We are proud to be taking donations at this year’s “Chai” Tea for the Jewish Coalition for Syrian Refugees.
