Jeffrey has been an organic farmer himself, reviving a potato farm in Sweden, but the major focus of his career has been on addressing today’s economic, environmental, social, and cultural challenges in new and creative ways. He has led a large company (Yahoo
Scandinavia), started successful businesses (including e-licious Inc), and has helped nonprofits grow and thrive (California FarmLink as Board President; Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm as Development Committee Chair).

“I am humbled and overjoyed to have the opportunity to lead the organization that has inspired me for so many years,” said Jeffrey Westman “ Marin County and Marin Organic have a tremendous role - and responsibility - in leading and educating the community and future generations in the fight for organic, sustainable and local foods. I’m eager to help forge a future where producers and consumers join hands for the common cause of clean, fair and organic food for all.”
