The Marin Teen Girl Conference Welcomes Youth Sunday
The annual conference will be at the Embassy Suites in San Rafael for a day of learning and sharing.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — There are still a few spots open for this year's Marin Teen Girl Conference, scheduled for Sunday, March 26, in San Rafael. Organizers said this weekend's conference, put on by the Marin Women's Commission, has a theme of "grow as we go."
The day-long event will spotlight chats with award-winning teens, along with an array of workshops and performances. Areas of focus include community building, wellness, health, public engagement, college readiness and developing job interview skills.
Sessions include ways to reduce breast cancer risk, how to cultivate healthy relationships, yoga, and self care. Teen volunteers will also host a training on how to use Narcan, the lifesaving opioid overdose reversal spray.
