Missing Woman With Alzheimer's Disease Found Safe, San Rafael Police Say

Erlene Flagg, 99, was last seen leaving her San Rafael home in a Ford Escape. She may have been headed to Graton Resort in Rohnert Park.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – An at-risk elderly woman who went missing in San Rafael has been found safe, authorities said Tuesday night. Erlene Flagg, 99, suffers from late-stage Alzheimer's disease.

Flagg, who was missing since late Tuesday afternoon, was last seen leaving her San Rafael home in a tan Ford Escape, according to the San Rafael Police Department. Officials said she was possibly headed to Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park. It was believed she had no money or cell phone.

Flagg is black with brown eyes and gray hair pulled back. She had last been seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and carrying a black leather purse, according to an alert issued by the department.
