MARIN COUNTY, CA — The Marin County Elections Department has tabulated 99 percent of the vote-by-mail ballots from the Nov. 3 general election, officials announced Tuesday.

Outstanding ballots include those that are still arriving by mail and were postmarked by Election Day, and those waiting for voters to fix a signature problem – either missing signature or mismatched signature.

Staff is now processing 1,500 provisional ballots that were cast at the polls and require special handling to ensure voters haven't voted twice, according to the Elections Department. Tallied results are available on the Elections website.
