Nominations Open For San Rafael's 2018 Citizen Of The Year

The award program recognizes residents who have made outstanding contributions to the community.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – The city of San Rafael is accepting nominations for the 2018 Citizen of the Year Award. The award program, which was established by the City Council in 2001, recognizes residents who have made outstanding contributions to the community.

Honorees receive a council resolution and a $2,500 cash award from the Marin Community Foundation. Recipients are also recognized at the annual State of the City dinner.

Nominations must be submitted online or filed with the city's Community Development Department by 5 p.m. Jan. 3, 2018.
