Northgate Mall Presents: Boys of Summer (Eagles tribute)
BOYS OF SUMMER (EAGLES TRIBUTE) CONTINUE SUMMER TOUR; PERFORM@NORTHGATE MALL'S CONCERT UNDER THE OAK SERIES
(San Rafael, CA) - Continuing on their busy Summer 2015 tour schedule, top Southern California-based Eagles tribute The Boys Of Summer, perform locally at Northgate Mall’s ‘Concert Under The Oak’ Series, 5800 Northgate Mall, Friday, August 14. Showtime is from 6-8 p.m. Free show, all ages. Info: www.shopatnorthgate.com. The show is also a homecoming of sorts of Boys of Summer keyboardist Chris Turbis, who graduated from nearby Terra Linda High School.
The Boys of Summer are James Williamson, drums-vocals; Darrel Monson, guitar/vocals; Craig T. Fall, guitar/vocals; Chris Turbis, keyboards/saxophones/acoustic guitar/vocals; and Bill Winkler, bass/vocals, five hardworking musicians who play and channel some of the greatest music ever created and produced on the West Coast, that being from legendary rock group, the Eagles. With each band-member possessing many decades of professional experience, TBOS play the true musical heart and soul of the Eagle’s music - recreating the sounds, harmonies, and most important, the feel.
The Boys of Summer were seemingly everywhere during an incredibly successful national touring campaign last year, with no slowing down in 2015. The Southern California-based group wowed the biker crowds in Sturgis; visited the City by the Bay, San Francisco, where they performed with renowned comedian George Lopez at the Paramount Theater; headlined festivals, including Windsor Kaboom; and played some swanky high-end casinos in between, from all the way up in Washington State to the Pala Casino in their home-base of SoCal, which was, fittingly, their final show of the year.
