Paddleboarder Reported Missing In San Rafael Found Safe [UPDATE]

The 60-year-old woman was reported missing Saturday, police said.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – UPDATE: SUNDAY, MAY 14, 5:35 p.m.

A woman missing since Saturday afternoon from San Rafael was found, police said today.

Jane Butler, 60, is safe. She was last seen leaving a dock near 101 Surf Sports at 115 Third St.
She was going to go paddleboarding.

Police in San Rafael are seeking the public's help in locating a missing woman.

According to police, Jane Butler was last seen Saturday afternoon leaving the dock near the 101 Surf Sports store, located at 115 Third St. to go paddleboarding. She never returned home, police said.

Butler is described as a 60-year-old woman with blonde, shoulder-length hair, blue eyes, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a red life vest, and had a white, 12-foot paddle board with blue stripes, police said.

Anyone with information about Butler's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or San Rafael police at (415) 485-3000.
