Pedestrian Struck And Killed By Car In Marin County: Police
Police said the woman was walking in or near the crosswalk when she was hit.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — A woman was fatally struck by a car Wednesday morning walking in a crosswalk at a San Rafael intersection, police said.
At around 8:35 a.m. on Wednesday, the collision was reported near Summit Avenue and Point San Pedro Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The identity of the person who died is currently being withheld.

Police closed a lane on Point San Pedro Road for the investigation.
The driver involved in the incident was not arrested at this time, police said.
