PG&E Power Shutoff Canceled In Marin County
The shutoff had been scheduled to begin on Wednesday.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — After local residents and businesses prepared for another public safety power shutoff this week, Pacific Gas and Electric Company announced Tuesday afternoon the planned outage was canceled in Marin County.
On Monday, PG&E warned approximately 303,000 customers in portions of 25 counties about a potential shutoff starting Wednesday. About 23,440 customers in Marin would have been impacted.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the shutoff was expected to impact roughly 181,000 customers in 16 counties.
"This information is subject to change if weather conditions change, but as of now Marin County will not be affected," the Marin County Sheriff's Office said in an announcement. "We will continue to monitor the situation and update residents if this changes."
