
SAN RAFAEL, CA -- San Rafael police have advised the public to avoid the area of Fifth and California avenues this morning due to police activity. Police issued a Nixle alert advising of the closure at 6:20 a.m.
There is no estimated time of reopening and police advised residents to take alternate routes around the area.
A San Rafael police dispatcher said the department is declining to comment as of 6:25 a.m.
