Red Flag Warning Extended In North Bay

Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly, forecasters said.

NORTH BAY, CA – The National Weather Service has extended a red flag warning until 5 p.m. Monday as the region experiences high temperatures and strong winds.

A red flag warning means that the region is experiencing critical fire weather conditions. The affected area includes Marin, Napa and Sonoma counties in the North Bay as well as other parts of the Bay Area.

Forecasters said Napa County faces the highest threat, especially along the Yolo County line.
