Road Closures Planned For Fairfax Festival Parade

Drivers should expect traffic delays downtown and follow posted detours, officials said.

FAIRFAX, CA — Police said several roads will be closed Saturday during the Fairfax Festival Parade.

The Fairfax Police Department issued an alert reminding residents that the parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

During the parade, Broadway will be closed between Bolinas Road and Pacheco Avenue. Bolinas Road will be closed between Broadway and Park Road, and Park Road will be closed between Bolinas Road and Merwin Avenue.

Police said traffic in downtown Fairfax is expected to be congested and advised motorists to follow all detours, parking signs and barricades.
