San Rafael Firefighters Teach CPR to 113 Marin Residents

The training was part of a recent countywide Marin sidewalk CPR event.

San Rafael, CA — San Rafael firefighter/paramedics kept busy teaching people how to save lives during a recent countywide Marin sidewalk CPR event.

Member of the San Rafael Fire Department set up shop outside of Mi Pueblo for four hours on June 11 and taught 113 residents how to perform hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) machine.

Such training makes the community stronger and residents ready to save a life, remarked San Rafael fire Chief Christopher Gray.
