San Rafael Man Among 4 Arrested On Drugs, Gun Offenses: Police

The four arrests took place in the parking lot of a Petaluma convenience store after police received a tip about "pill distribution."

SAN RAFAEL, CA – A San Rafael man was among four people arrested on suspicion of drug offenses and possession of a firearm in a convenience store parking lot Tuesday morning in Petaluma.

Before officers responded at about 9 a.m., Petaluma police received an anonymous tip about "pill distribution" at 860 Perry Lane, Sgt. Lance Novello said.

Police searched a vehicle and allegedly found a loaded pistol, more than an ounce of methamphetamine, more than 2 ounces of suspected heroin, 2.5 pounds of marijuana and narcotics paraphernalia.

Police arrested Zackery Fortune, 24, of Petaluma; Brandon MacPherson, 23, of San Rafael; Julian Pedrinazzi, 24, of Sebastopol; and Garrett Glen, 25, of Washington. All four were arrested on suspicion narcotic sales offenses and firearm possession and were booked into Sonoma County Jail, according to Novello.
