San Rafael Police Arrest Hayward Homicide Suspect
Joseph Abraham Darling of Hayward was arrested during a credit card fraud investigation at the Extended Stay Deluxe Suites in San Rafael.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – San Rafael police Sunday arrested a suspect in a Hayward homicide during a credit card fraud investigation at a motel, authorities said.
According to the San Rafael Police Department, police arrested two people in a room at the Extended Stay Deluxe Suites at 1775 East Francisco Boulevard in San Rafael.
One of the occupants who was arrested gave a false name to police, Sgt. Carl Huber said. He was identified through a live-scan fingerprint analysis as Joseph Abraham Darling, 41, of Hayward during the booking process at the Marin County Jail.

Darling had a warrant for his arrest on suspicion of murder for the Dec. 7, 2015, fatal shooting of 31-year-old Anton Williams of Hayward, Huber said.
Huber said Christine Marie Salazar, 44, of Hayward was also arrested on suspicion of fraud.
