Firefighters from the station at 210 Third St. are now temporarily housed at 519 Fourth St. Fire officials said Pacific Gas and Electric Company is set to disconnect the gas and electric service from Station 52 on Feb. 13, allowing for the demolition of the fire station and training complex.

Construction on the new facility is expected to start in March 2017 and last for about 14 months. After Fire Station 52 is rebuilt, fire and paramedic services will return to 210 Third Street.
