Suspected Serial Window Smasher Arrested In San Rafael
Nearly 30 vandalism cases have been reported, according to San Rafael police.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – Police have arrested a man suspected of smashing windows at a number of businesses in San Rafael.
The investigation began in late August after several business owners reported that their windows were shattered by rocks. By December, nearly 30 cases had been reported, according to San Rafael police. Some of the larger windows were valued at more than $400.
Police said low-quality surveillance video prevented them from identifying a suspect, but a high-quality surveillance video obtained this month allowed them to identify Miguel Parra of San Rafael as the suspect.
