Seven year old wins Grand Champion at Pinewood Derby Races

Cub Scout Pack 50’s Pinewood Derby Races winner, Isaac Kiptum, age 7 and a first grade student at Caulbridge School is this year’s Grand Champion. Isaac took First Place in his age group 6-7 year olds, then went on to win the Grand Championship competing with the winners of all age groups, 6 – 11 year olds.

Isaac chose to design his car in the “shape of an arrow because I thought it was going to be aerodynamic and it looks cool. I like to build and make things and we make lots of things and at my school.” Kiptum will race again at the Marin County Fair this summer.
