Several Local Measures On November 2018 Ballot In Marin County
A sample ballot and informational guide will be mailed to registered voters the final week of September, county officials said.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Marin County voters will have the opportunity to voice their choice on a number of local measures in November. The measures cover countywide, school, municipal and special district issues.
Some of the measures on the Nov. 6 ballot include:
- Transportation Authority of Marin will have a countywide measure asking voters to renew the existing half-cent sales tax.
- School measures include a bond measure for Shoreline Unified School District and a special tax for Tamalpais Union High School Districts.
- Voters in Corte Madera, Fairfax, Larkspur, Ross, San Anselmo and Sausalito will be able to vote on a variety of local issues.
- District measures will include County Service Area No. 27, West Marin Transient Occupancy Tax Area, and the Kentfield, Sleepy Hollow, Southern Marin and Stinson Beach fire districts.
- Bolinas Community Public Utility District will have an advisory measure on the ballot.
The filing deadline for arguments in county, school and district measures is Aug. 20 at the Marin County Elections Department. Written arguments for and against the measures have be filed before 4:30 p.m. Submission and signature forms are required at the time of filing.

Deadlines could be different for municipal measures that are handled by town or city clerks, according to county officials.

Documents are available for public examination in the Elections Department for 10 days from the filing date. A sample ballot and informational guide will be mailed to registered voters the final week of September, and official ballots will be mailed Oct. 8, according to county officials.
The Elections Department is located in Suite 121 of the Marin Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
