Small Brush Fire Breaks Out In Rural Marin County
BREAKING: The one-quarter acre blaze broke out around 1:10 p.m. Monday off Mount Vision Road in the community of Inverness.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Crews are battling a small brush fire Monday afternoon in the unincorporated community of Inverness in Marin County, fire officials said.
According to Marin County Fire Department, the one-quarter acre blaze broke out around 1:10 p.m. in an area with heavy vegetation off Mount Vision Road. By 3:20 p.m., the fire was 75 percent contained.
Although officials said the fog layer was too low to fight the flames from the air, firefighters quickly surrounded the fire.

Officials do not expect the fire to spread. Crews should finish mopping up the area in about three to four hours, officials said.
No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
