SMART-Train Station Access Altered By Construction
A sidewalk closure in San Rafael is needed for construction of the Larkspur rail extension, officials said.
SAN RAFAEL, CA – A sidewalk on Third Street outside the San Rafael SMART Train station is closed through April 27, Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit has announced.
SMART passengers can reach the San Rafael Transit Center from Tamalpais Avenue or Hetherton Street during the closure and the system is coordinating with Golden Gate Transit and Ferry.
Detour signage is in place on the platform.
