Social Security, Elder Care and Estate Planning
How to balance income planning with estate considerations, panel discussions
Three experts join in a panel discussion on elder care and income considerations for retirement and estate planning, Wed., Mar. 30, at the Northgate Mall Community Room, San Rafael.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., the discussion will feature estate planning attorney Heather Robertson; senior care consultant Rosanne Angel, and Kathleen Nemetz, Certified Financial Planner, and Registered Investments Advisor.
Panelists will address how to optimize Social security benefits; what to expect when planning retirement budgets, and balancing legacy goals with end of life costs for health care. There will also be some discussion of wills and trusts, and the impact of spend down decisions that conflict with estate goals.
Rosanne Angel is a senior care consultant based in San Anselmo, Golden Benefits Insurance Services. Her specialties include LTC insurance, Medicare supplements, and living options based on cost and benefits. She also helps client research board and care and assisted living costs. Heather Robertson is an Estate Planning Attorney with offices in Marin and San Francisco.
Kathleen Nemetz’s practice is based at McClurg Capital, San Rafael. She is also producer of a TV talk show on CMCM-TV station 26, “Women On Money.”
The one-hour event is co-sponsored with the Women’s Collective of Marin, sponsoring educational talks for women, by women, on topics women care about. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
