Special Elections Slated Aug. 27 For 2 Districts In Marin County
Voters in two districts in Marin County will decide on special tax measures.
MARIN COUNTY, CA – The special elections for Marin County residents in the Bolinas-Stinson Union School District and the Inverness Permanent Road Division No. 2 are around the corner.
Voters in the school district will vote on Measure B to determine the amount of a special tax for educational programs. Voters in the road division will vote on Measure C to determine the amount of a special tax for road maintenance.
Both special elections are vote-by-mail elections. No polling places will be open on Election Day on Aug. 27 except for the Marin County Elections Department at the Civic Center in San Rafael.

All registered voters within the districts will receive a postage-paid envelope along with their ballot, according to the county. Voters must sign the envelope before mailing it back. The ballot envelope must also be postmarked on or before Election Day.
