Suspected Pimp Arrested In San Rafael
Laroyce Almartez Chew, 24, of Sacramento, was arrested on suspicion of pimping and pandering.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – A man suspected of human trafficking was arrested Thursday in San Rafael.
San Rafael police contacted an 18-year-old woman shortly before 8:15 p.m. near a closed business on Francisco Boulevard East. The woman told officers that a man she met recently brought her to San Rafael to work as a prostitute, San Rafael police Sgt. Lisa Holton said.
Following an investigation, police found the suspect in a vehicle in the parking lot of a nearby motel. Laroyce Almartez Chew, 24, of Sacramento, was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of pimping and pandering.

The victim was provided with resources and transported to a safe place, Holton said.
