San Rafael Road Closed For PG&E Pole Replacement Project

SAN RAFAEL, CA – Lincoln Avenue in San Rafael will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday while Pacific Gas and Electric Company replaces transmission poles, according to the utility company.

The street will be closed between Wilson Court and Laurel Place so that crews can remove and transport the 65-foot poles and upgrade equipment to improve electric reliability, PG&E spokeswoman Deanna Contreras said.

PG&E will notify customers by phone if there is a planned interruption of service, Contreras said.
