Unique Ace Hardware Store Opens in Downtown San Rafael
"We are happy to be here and have received an overwhelming positive response from the neighborhood," said David Harrison, store manager.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Chase Ace Hardware, Garden & Gift Emporium opened June 26 in the old Yardbirds nursery location off 4th street in downtown San Rafael, filling a once vacant lot.
The locally-owned and operated hardware store and garden center has two buildings stocked with tools; paint, electrical, plumbing, and cleaning supplies; and a nursery stocked with outdoor plants, pottery and garden décor, including a large collection of indoor plants, according to a news release.
The gift emporium, the distinctive feature of this "new look" Ace hardware store, offers upscale candles, French-made cutlery, hand-crafted jewelry and a thoughtful selection of gifts and décor for the discerning household, according to the news release. The concept brings a rustic industrial look to the traditional hardware store and engages the whole family with kitchenware, children’s toys and office supplies.
