MARIN COUNTY, CA — The County of Marin is getting creative to encourage people to continue following the stay-at-home order and social distancing guidelines to help slow the spread of the new coronavirus.
The county on Easter Sunday released a parody video urging community members to practice social distancing, stay home and more to the beat of "Come On Eileen," a 1982 song by English group Dexys Midnight Runners.
"Stay in your neighborhood. It's for community good. Limit driving to the market or the pharmacy," the song says. "There's no reason to hoard. We know that you might get bored. Use Zoom or apps to have a costume party.

The video shows Marin residents, staff and health care workers at work and home.
The video was created to "foster community connection," according to the county.
"We thank everyone for abiding by the shelter-in-place order and staying home as much as possible. Your diligence is helping to safe lives," county officials said in a daily coronavirus email update to the community. "Let's keep up the good work of being physically distant, while continuing to practice kindness and social engagement."
