Woman Killed In Crosswalk Identified In Marin County: Police
The woman was killed the day before when she was struck by a car while she was in the crosswalk, police said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — The coroner’s office on Thursday identified the woman who was killed crossing the street in San Rafael after she was hit by a car the day before, police said.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Coroner Division identified Lucia Jennifer Blandina Sontay Vicente, 19, as the woman who was fatally struck by a car in a crosswalk at a San Rafael intersection on Wednesday morning.
The collision occurred around 8:35 a.m. near the intersection of Summit Avenue and Point San Pedro Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities closed a lane on Point San Pedro Road as part of the ongoing investigation.
The driver involved in the incident has not been arrested at this time, police confirmed.
