5K Purple Stride Event THIS Saturday in San Jose

There was an article in the San Jose Mercury News today (23 Oct, page B4) which had a nice photo of a Bay Area Pancreatic Action Network event from two years ago.  However, the article lacked any mention of Purple Stride in San Jose, just 3 days away. Here are the details for Purple Stride, which includes a Timed 5 km Run and Family-Friendly Walk and many other activities.  It will be FUN!

It’s probably a bit late and onerous to work through the on-line registration process, but I encourage you to register at the Discovery Museum Saturday morning … or at the Sports Basement (Campbell in the Pruneyard) Friday 4-8 PM.

I searched for the Mercury article content on the internet, finding a longer version, which did contain much current information
