The Cal High Varsity Dance Team returned from the UDA National Dance Championships in Florida with a 3rd place trophy for their small group jazz dance and a 6th place trophy for their small group pom dance. The girls were up against about 80 teams in each category from high schools all over the nation.
The Cal High Team is currently comprised of 12 girls ranging from freshmans to seniors. Coach Toneka Webb will be forming next year's team in April. There will be an optional two week clinic (possibly late March) followed by a week long try-outs. No dance experience necessary -- just a willingness to work hard.
