The Dougherty Valley Aquatic Center will be closed Tuesday – Thursday, August 9 - 11, 2011. The San Ramon Valley Unified School District solar panel construction project at Dougherty Valley High School requires that the electricity be turned off for a three day period at the school site. This will affect the operations of the City’s aquatic programs during this time period.
For the convenience of lap swimming, the San Ramon Olympic Pool and Aquatic Park, 9900 Broadmoor Dr., will add additional hours on Tuesday and Thursday, August 9th and 11th, 6 – 8 am. Recreation Swimmers are encouraged to enjoy recreational swimming at the San Ramon Olympic Pool during their regularly scheduled hours. Please visit our website www.sanramon.ca.gov for detailed information. All participants registered for aquatic classes at Dougherty Valley Aquatic Center will be notified in regards to alternative arrangements at the San Ramon Olympic Pool for their individual programs.
