The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop at the Way Side Inn, located in Lafayette, proudly announce the approaching Customer Appreciation Day, scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The hours have been extended to coincide with the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce sponsored A Taste of Lafayette.

How will this adventure unfold? How about a 50% price reduction on ALL MERCHANDISE storewide. Furthermore, customers can draw a free raffle ticket to be eligible to win one of three baskets (No purchase necessary). You do not need be present to win as that will be announced at the end of the day.

Realizing that time is money, let the following serve as a guide: As you enter the well-known, recently renovated landmark, a wall arrangement of photos to your left, depicting Assistance League of Diablo Valley’s 16 hands-on philanthropic programs, greet you. Also note an assortment of specialty items adorning the floor-to-ceiling display shelves along the walls, as well as on a table that features “must have” items.

Venturing toward the back of the shop, you will discover the “something for everyone” apparel and accessories area. Progressing to the other side of the shop, two fitting rooms to your immediate left await, while linens, crafts and children’s toys and books are found to your right. Returning to the front of the shop, you will find an area designated for household accents and accoutrements, which seems to require frequent replenishment.

Take advantage of this chance to recycle, renew and reuse at half the price; i.e., 50 % “Off Asking!” To learn more about Assistance League of Diablo Valley’s philanthropic programs primarily funded by its thrift shop, please visit this website: assistanceleague.org/diablo-valley.
