Well I tried so hard to keep my Facebook friends list intact through November but I had to unfriend somebody today. Last week I put in my staus update a disclaimer:
"It's true I'm opinionated but I respect other people's opinions. It's because I assume that people have come to their opinions by life experiences and deep contemplation and I have to respect their journey to their truth. So I invite differing opinions on my FB page, but I view it as my living room and will not tolerate my guests being insulted in my home. I get excited about politics like others get excited about football, but I'm not one of those people that's going to stab an opposing fan in the parking lot. Why am I saying this? Because this election is only going to get uglier, we haven't even had the conventions yet. Let's make it to November in one piece people.".
This person did not follow "my rules" and was rude to another friend of mine, telling him to "man up" when he was trying to be diplomatic instead of incendiary.

So even though I like her, I was disappointed in her behavior, and had to escort her out of my cyber living room.
As we draw closer to the election have you found yourself tip-toeing around certain people in your life? Hiding posts on Facebook? Unfriending friends and even family members because your views just aren't compatible? Do you find yourself sick of both parties and just can't wait for the election to all be over? Let us know.
