The Alamo Farmers' Market is very excited for the arrival of our newest coffee vendor, SILQ COFFEE starting this Sunday (May 24th). Owner Monijeh “Monica” Khoja Herawi created Silq Coffee from a simple belief that coffee is more than a drink, it's a moment of connection. Built while balancing school, work, and supporting my family, Silq Coffee began as a way to build something meaningful and lasting. What started as an idea has grown with the help of family and the community around it, becoming something shared.
Inspired by the Silk Road, Silq Coffee brings together tradition, culture, and community. With thoughtfully sourced ingredients and beans roasted in collaboration with a private roaster, each cup is an invitation to pause, connect, and share in something meaningful.
Their goal is to create spaces that feel warm, inclusive, and multi-generational, where conversations flow, ideas are exchanged, and people feel seen. As they grow, they hope to build more than a coffee brand, but a community rooted in connection, culture, and shared experiences."
Let’s show our newest vendor to the market a little love as we truly appreciate all our vendors!
