Blues Sessions with Terrie Odabi
Event Details
Doors open: 5:00 PM & 8:00 PM
This special evening begins with a pre-show performance by Cal High Student Jazz Combos, followed by Bay Area soul-blues powerhouse Terrie Odabi and her band.
Terrie brings her commanding voice, soulful storytelling, and dynamic stage presence to Meyhouse for an evening rooted in Blues, Soul, and Jazz. Drawing inspiration from the traditions of artists such as Mavis Staples and Etta James, she moves effortlessly from deeply expressive ballads to hard-grooving originals filled with warmth, conviction, and emotional depth.
A six-time Blues Music Award nominee, Terrie has built an international reputation as a vocalist, songwriter, bandleader, and touring artist. Her performances combine powerful musicianship with songs that speak to love, life, hope, and the human experience.
