Cool Family Fun! Hot Jazz and Blues! *FREE* Cool Summer Jazz Saturdays at the San Ramon Library continues with saxophonist extraordinaire Charles McNeal on Saturday, August 15th. 
The Charles McNeil and Friends quartet include: Charles McNeal, alto sax, Joe Warner, keys, Ron Belcher, bass and Deszon Claiborne, drums. 
Nationally-known Charles McNeal has been booked for such prestigious events as the Monterey and San Francisco Jazz Festivals. He is best known for the provision of many saxophone transcriptions and educational materials.&nbsp; 
The hour-long performance will be in the upstairs community room at the Library starting at 2 p.m. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
The concert is free to the public, but seats fill up fast so get there! 
This concert is supported by the San Ramon Library Foundation and Jazz in the Neighborhood (JITN).

Offering youth soccer for boys & girls ages 4-18 since 1973

San Ramon FC

San Ramon FC develops players, character, and community through soccer. With both recreational and competitive programs, the club has teams for boys and girls, welcoming both beginners and players with advanced skills. Popular fall recreational programs include the U5-U8 Junior Academy and the U9-U19 Recreational program. The Junior Academy program is also offered in the winter and spring. The club's youth competitive program holds tryouts annually in May for its U7 Academy, U8-U19 Competitive, and ECNL-RL level teams. Camps are frequently offered during winter and summer breaks. Competitive youth futsal training and league play are available in the winter, as part of its youth futsal affiliate, 925 Futsal. San Ramon FC has received US Soccer's Players First designation and it promotes 11 pillars of character important for success in soccer and in life. Financial aid is often available to families that qualify for assistance. The club has a growing pro-development program, featuring a competitive women's team and two men's teams. These talented adult teams give local residents the opportunity to watch competitive adult soccer matches minutes from home. More importantly, they give skillful young adult players in the area the opportunity to further develop their soccer skills through competitive play. Older teenage players in the club also train and play on these pro-development teams to help them gain valuable experience. With an emphasis on its 11 pillars of character, the club continues to strive to teach the beautiful game to youth players in the community and to help them develop their full potential, both as players and as people.
