Four Arrested, Suspected in Brutal Attack Near San Ramon Elementary School
Breaking: Police said the victim suffered serious injuries after he confronted several teens who were causing a disturbance at the school.

SAN RAMON, CA — Four people have been arrested in connection with an alleged assault that sent a San Ramon man to the hospital Friday night, police officials said.
Just before midnight, officers were dispatched to Walt Disney Elementary in San Ramon to investigate a report of a disturbance. When officers arrived, they discovered an injured male victim in front of his home, which was near the school.
Police said the victim was bleeding from numerous lacerations and injuries throughout his face and body.

“The victim stated he confronted several teenagers who were causing a disturbance on the school playground and on the access trail between Walt Disney Elementary and Pebble Place,” police officials said in a statement. “While speaking with one of the individuals, the victim was struck in the head by one of the suspects. Multiple suspects began punching and kicking the victim and ultimately a suspect choked the victim until he lost consciousness.”
According to police, the victim suffered a broken nose, a fractured cheekbone, a bruised kidney, and numerous lacerations and bruising throughout his body.

Investigators were able to identify several suspects in connection with the brutal attack. On Tuesday morning, investigators arrested 19-year-old Jordan Manibusan at his home in San Ramon following the service of a search warrant.
Danville resident Zachary Kennedy, 20, and two 17-year-old juveniles were arrested Thursday morning, according to police. All four suspects are accused of multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and felony battery. Manibusan and Kennedy were booked at the Martinez Detention Center and are being held on $80,000 bail. The teens are being held at the County Juvenile Hall Detention Facility in Martinez.
