Northbound lanes are blocked this evening on Interstate Highway 680 in San Ramon after a three-vehicle collision that left a California Highway Patrol officer with serious injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt said officers responded to a report of a three-vehicle collision at 5:20 p.m. on I-680 near the Crow Canyon Road off-ramp. Van Eckhardt said the officer, who was riding a motorcycle, was involved in the crash with a white van and a third vehicle.
