Injured Mountain Biker Rescued From Mt. Diablo Trail: VIDEO

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA – A Contra Costa Sheriff's helicopter joined the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District last week in the rescue of a mountain biker, who was injured on the Dusty Road trail in Mount Diablo State Park.
Due to the victim's injuries, which included possible broken bones, San Ramon fire crews requested the STARR 1 helicopter transport the man to an awaiting medical helicopter, which then flew him to a hospital, deputies said.
