Lunar New Year Celebration Scheduled For City Center Bishop Ranch
On Sunday, enjoy drums, cymbals, music, dance and more at San Ramon's Alexander Square.
SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon will usher in the Year of the Tiger with a celebration on Sunday at Alexander Square at City Center Bishop Ranch.
From 11 to 1:30, Alexander Square will reverberate with the sounds of traditional drums, cymbals, dances, live music, cultural performances, red envelopes with good luck charms inside, and more. The event is sponsored by Patelco, KTSF, and Diablo Magazine.
Livermore held a similar event last Saturday at Bankhead Plaza featuring dance, refreshments, and workshops in lantern-making and calligraphy. Dublin scheduled a celebration for Saturday, but it has been postponed to an undetermined date.
