Martin Luther King Day Ceremony To Be Hosted At San Ramon City Hall
The city's fifth MLK Day celebration will highlight the legacy of Dr. King and honor the American Association of University Women.
SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Valley Diversity Coalition is partnering with the city of San Ramon to host the city's 5th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration.
The celebration will be held Monday from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the San Ramon City Hall Rotunda, followed by a reception from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
This year's celebration will honor the Danville, Alamo, Walnut Creek, and San Ramon branches of the American Association of University Women, a national nonprofit advocating equity for women and girls.

The celebration is supported by a number of local organizations and leaders, including the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, Danville Mayor Newell Arnerich and Vice Mayor Robert Storer, Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, Contra Costa County Supervisor Candace Anderson, and many others.
