San Ramon CVS Evacuated After Odor Prompts Gas Leak Investigation

A CVS on San Ramon Valley Boulevard was evacuated Tuesday after one person reported symptoms possibly linked to a strange odor.

SAN RAMON, CA — The CVS at 2455 San Ramon Valley Boulevard was evacuated Tuesday after crews responded to an odor investigation, according to San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Chief Jonas Aguiar.

One person complained of symptoms they believed may have been related to the odor, Aguiar said. Hazmat crews checked the store for possible gas leaks.

A total of eight units, including a hazardous materials team, responded. Only two remain on-scene as of 3 p.m., according to the Pulsepoint app.
