New Art in Central Park
A metal sculpture was installed in front of the community center after a week long journey across the country from Massachusetts.
The installation of a metal sculpture in Central Park on Thursday morning marks the end of San Ramon's 18 month-long process of bringing in public art for the city's main park.
The 19 foot long, 8 foot tall structure, which was placed just outside the community center on a small grassy hill, is titled "Four People," and was created by Massachusetts artist Dale Rogers.
After traveling across the country, the sculpture finally arrived Thursday to be permanently fixed into Central Park by Rogers himself.
