Pool Cleaning Accident Lands San Ramon Resident In The Hospital
Hazmat crews responded to the scene to clean up a chemical spill, officials said.
SAN RAMON, CA — A San Ramon resident was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after they were splashed with pool chemicals, the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District said.
A Tumbleweed Court resident was performing pool maintenance when the accident happened, said Battalion Chief Bruno Spani. The injury was caused by an accidental mixture of pool chemicals, officials said.
The resident was transported to the hospital. Firefighters and hazmat personnel cleaned up the chemical spill.
