Recycled Water Must Be Conserved In Next Drought, DSRSD Says
The Dublin San Ramon Services District board revised its recycled water policy Wednesday.
TRI-VALLEY, CA — The Dublin San Ramon Service District will require conservation of both recycled and potable water during times of drought in the future, the district said.
The DSRSD Board of Directors revised Wednesday the recycled water policy, which covers 23 percent of the total water demand, the district said to customers in an email.
The new policy calls for no new recycled water connections until new wastewater supplies can be identified. DSRSD will work with people who already rely on recycled water to use the resource more efficiently, according to the policy.
