Duo Sought For 'Knock-Knock' Home Break-In Attempt

The two men appear to be disguised as workers in the surveillance video released by Pleasanton police.

PLEASANTON, CA – Pleasanton police today are seeking two males wanted in connection with a home break-in try that occurred last month.

The Pleasanton Police Department on Tuesday released surveillance video from the incident, logged Dec. 18 at 10:38 a.m. on the 4300 block of Fairlands Drive, hoping the public can aid with identification of the suspects.

Wearing workers' reflective vests and one carrying a clipboard, the pair appear to knock at the residence's front door. When no one answered, they proceeded through an unlocked side gate to the backyard, where one tried to open the sliding door, police said.
